A 28-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Ginger has been a part of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau and Dallas Sports Commission for 27 years. Her career in sports began as a student assistant in the athletic department at her alma mater, The University of North Texas, where she gravitated into sales and service. Now the Sr. Director of Sales, Ginger works diligently to attract citywide sporting events and conventions that utilize the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, large-scale regional events, and more.
Ginger played an essential role in preparing bids and securing prestigious events such as Super Bowl XLV, NBA All-Star Game, multiple NCAA Men's and Women's Final Fours, Big 12 Championships, Inaugural College Football National Championship Game, DreamHack Dallas, and many more. Ginger has also worked extensively to secure and retain world-class youth sporting events in Dallas such as the Lone Star Classic, Varsity NCA Championship events, and the VEX Robotics World Championship. She represents Dallas in multiple roles through Local Organizing Committees, working to secure accommodations for the FIFA World Cup 26™, and contributing to a variety of community initiatives.
Ginger and her husband, Ras, own a family custom saddle business, enjoy spending time with their animal family of English Bulldogs, and travel the calf roping and rodeo trail.
