Dallas is one of the premier sports destinations in the country, and the Dallas Sports Commission (DSC) plays a significant role in attracting sports events, competitions, and conferences to our great city.
The Dallas Sports Commission provides event organizers of sporting events or meetings with a one-stop shop. With just one call, the Dallas Sports Commission Team will assist and facilitate all the necessary steps in planning a fantastic event in Dallas or the surrounding area.
The DSC has been involved with the planning and execution of major sporting events in Dallas since 2014, which includes the NFL Draft, NHL Draft, 2017 and 2023 NCAA Women's Final Four, 2016 and 2022 WrestleMania, and the College Football Playoff National Championship. Since its inception, the DSC has hosted 459 events worth $3.3 billion in economic impact and over 6.25 million event attendees.
Involving the community is very important to the DSC as we look to present events that will positively impact the quality of life for Dallas residents. We book events that have affected the DFW metroplex for years through legacy projects and community initiatives. We are also proud to facilitate the Dallas Regional Spelling Bee, the Mayor's Youth Sports Ticket Program, and offer other sports-related community initiatives.
Our future event bookings are projected to have a $714 million economic impact with 716,146 attendees.
The Dallas Sports Commission is a non-profit organization whose mission is to attract, retain and support sports and entertainment events that will position Dallas as the premier sports destination and have a positive impact on the economy and quality of life of Dallas residents.

The Dallas Sports Commission logo is a symbol of accomplishment - of the hard work and teamwork that turns players into champions. Of the passion and pride that makes Dallas a city where big wins happen. Its design is inspired by championship banners, which are representations of the triumph of victory.
The "D" itself is derived from VisitDallas' logo, and takes visual cues from collegiate letterman jackets. Finally, the stitching on the outside border of the banner adds an additional element of dimension to the icon. When working together, each piece of the logo is intended to invoke a feeling of pride and leave behind this city's legacy in the realm of sports.
